At the behest of Michelle Bachmann who issued a call to action to grassroot Tea Party groups around the country patriots are again converging in Washington this thursday and going directly to congressional offices to ensure that the take over of our healthcare system fails.

This one time president of an NAACP chapter in Texas, is an charismatic man with a provocative story. His towering passion for freedom and a no holds barred delivery style when giving speeches make him a real breath of fresh air in todays crowd of message mongers.

I met with him for a short time today at his bed and breakfast in Grand Cane, Louisiana where he lives with his wife on his families farm, a farm that was been handed down from 4 previous generations. I am excited that we get to share such a wonderful person from our neck of the woods with the rest of the country. His life and his message truly crosses many lines.

For those that were at our tea parties on the Bossier City Civic Center lawn and heard him speak, it is hard to put into words the pride and electricity that was in the air. Just know that this man's message, smartness and passion for freedom has elevated him to the national stage in a very short amount of time. I can only imagine that listening to a speech from him on the majestic Mall in Washington DC will change lives. I pray that it will tear down walls and I am sure that it will leave those who have yet to hear him, craving more.

Thanks to everyone who worked hard and volunteered for the Celebrate Freedom Tea Party in Shreveport Bossier! The Tea Party was a huge success! We are working on a DVD of the entire event. Keep checking back to this site where you will be able to purchase a copy of the DVD.

Mike and Spike's BE Heard! booth was a huge success. The DJ's recorded Live interviews from the citizens who attended the July 4th Tea Party in Shreveport Bossier, Louisiana. Listen to the entire program here.

This recorded audio is inspiring as people from different backgrounds, young and old, representing many different states, of all political affiliations democrats and republicans... just everyday Americans, had their say at the BE Heard! Booth! It is amazing to hear from everyday Americans.
